U4GM's GTA 5 Guide to $600K PS5 Time Trials

  • There's a much quicker way to make money on PS5 than lining up another long heist. Weekly Time Trials can be knocked out solo, and the better handling at 60fps makes a real difference when a tight corner or a bad traffic spawn would normally wreck a run. If you're building a fresh garage through GTA 5 Accounts, these challenges are a handy weekly cash source because the reward lands as soon as you beat the target time. The big draw is Hao's Special Works: an HSW bike or car turns routes that feel impossible in an ordinary vehicle into something you can learn with a few restarts.

Build the weekly route around HSW

Start with the HSW event while you're focused. It usually pays $250,000, so it's the run worth practising rather than rushing. The standard Time Trial and RC Bandito challenge commonly add $100,000 each, while the Junk Energy ride can bring another $50,000 to $100,000. Payouts and locations rotate, but clearing the lot can put roughly $500,000 to $600,000 in your bank during a short session. HSW conversions are expensive, sure, but the Hakuchou Drag pays that investment back over repeated weekly runs.

Drive the route, not the GPS line

Power Street is a good example. The 1:21.00 target looks harsh, but it's mostly about avoiding dead stops in downtown traffic. Set up facing the direction you want before activating the marker. On the way west, use broad roads and leave yourself room to dodge cars rather than blindly following every GPS turn. Once you reach the highway, keep the bike settled and watch for NPCs drifting across lanes. Near the beach, brake a touch earlier than feels natural, then cut neatly toward the finish instead of sailing past it. A Bati 801 is still brilliant here; hold a wheelie on safe straights and it'll carry much more speed than its price suggests.

    • Use the HSW Hakuchou Drag for fast HSW routes and lean forward on long straights.
    • Brake in a straight line before sharp corners, especially when an HSW car is above 130mph.
    • Ease off slightly over dirt bumps so the vehicle stays planted.
    • Hold Triangle after a crash to respawn at the trial marker instead of wasting time returning.

    Keep attempts short and useful

Del Perro Beach asks for a different rhythm. The opening roads reward full acceleration, but the climb and dirt sections punish panic steering. Let the bike follow the trail's natural banking, and don't mash the throttle over every bump. It's normal to lose a couple of runs to traffic or one awkward landing, so treat early attempts as route scouting. Once your driving line is clean, the weekly circuit becomes dependable pocket money. You can then spend the extra cash on upgrades, properties, or a few GTA 5 Casino Chips for a change of pace at the casino.
